New year legislation changes in NSW



Area Shift Change

Payroll tax Down 6 per cent to 5.75 per cent

Train travel Up 7.5 per cent over four years

Land tax Up 0.4 per cent to two per cent

(for holdings above $2.25 million)

Document fees Up From 150 per cent to 400 per cent

(eg: mortgage lodging and will execution)
