NSW: NSW anti-corruption protesters want royal commision
Anti-corruption protesters are heading to the NSW Parliament today to demand a royal
commission into the Wollongong City Council.
GRAHAM LARCOMBE .. spokesman for a group called Wollongong Against Corruption .. says
they plan to see Local Government Minister PAUL LYNCH.
Mr LARCOMBE says they want the state government to fast-track plans to clean up alleged
corruption in the Wollongong council .. and to address the statewide developer donations
scandal engulfing state Labor.
The party admits it's made mistakes in declaring all political donations .. but state
secretary KARL BITAR says an audit will sort it out.
