NSW:Government sly about deficit - Hockey

The federal opposition's accused Labor of being sly and arrogant for sneaking out a
warning about a possible larger than expected budget deficit .. on the same day as the
royal wedding.

Shadow treasurer JOE HOCKEY says it's taking out the garbage on Prince WILLIAM and
KATE MIDDLETON's big day .. and hoping that no one will notice.

Today's Australian Financial Review has an interview with Treasurer WAYNE SWAN in which
he says a slump in revenue could push the budget deficit out to 50 billion dollars ..

up from 41 billion forecast in its mid-year economic review.
